The Visual Intelligence Centre is a key part of TVM's Database Management Product range. It facilitates active surveillance allowing police officers to capture, manage and act on the output from Smart CCTV systems such as our own FlexiBurner range of Digital Video Recorders.
Smart CCTV uses enhanced Video Analytics algorithms to generate alarm events when predefined activity occurs. Without proper management these alarms quickly lose value as the police officers can be overloaded with information. The VIC allows users to create operations where multiple smart CCTV devices can be deployed, managed and reported over.
The VIC has been built using COTS software packages and can be deployed using Oracle or Mysql databases depending on the confidentiality of the data being managed. The VIC comes with a Web Services Interface facilitating the easy integration of third party cameras and systems.
Whilst available as a fully standalone CCTV management system the VIC can be easily integrated with our ANPR and Visualisation modules creating a powerful portal managing both ANPR and CCTV resources.
