AudioBurner is a range of rack mount or portable high quality evidential audio recorders. The range has been designed in conjunction with UK Police Forces and HOSDB to fully comply with UK evidential standards.
Presently there are two recorders in the range.
The AudioBurner 100 is a portable two channel recorder (one stereo analog and one stereo digital channel) deployed in a Peli Case for portable use.
The AudioBurner 400 is a 19 inch rack mountable four channel (two stereo analog and two stereo digital channels) recorder designed for use in Central Monitoring Posts.
All AudioBurners enjoy the following common functionality.
Full local control via an intuitive touch screen interface.
Studio quality audio capture.
Easy to use mixing desk that supports volume control, VU-Meters, balanced and unbalanced line level inputs.
Analogue and Digital capture (SPDIF).
Fully IP addressable with password protected website allowing all functions of the recorder including input level adjustment to be set-up remotely.
Remote and local playback of recorded footage whilst the AudioBurner is still recording.
Records uncompressed hour long wav files which are SHA-1 check-summed for evidential integrity.
Supports file overlap making sure that no audio is lost as files are switched.
Built in DVD drive and DVD authoring software which burns evidentially rigorous disks which contain an easy to use wav player.
